Job Description:
Manage the generation and filing of federal and state partnership extensions. * Manage the research of partnership state filing requirements including the various forms, waiver requirements, and withholding requirements. * Manage the generation and filing of partnership state waivers. * Manage the processing and filing of partnership state withholding payments. * Manage the filing of federal and state partnership returns. * Manage the correspondence with federal and state agencies regarding notices. * Address the generation and filing requirements for reportable transactions. The above responsibilities will require communication and coordination with CPA firms and attorneys, in addition to the supervision of administrative staff. The projects will require the generation of detailed procedures, thorough tracking and monitoring of the steps of the process and reporting. Position Requirements: * BA/BS in business or related field with an emphasis in accounting * Three plus years of experience in accounting and the preparation of tax returns * Exposure to partnership tax returns helpful, but not required * Exposure to multi state filings helpful, but not required * Knowledge of Excel required * Database exposure is a plus.
