Job Description:

This position will report to the Controller, Life and Retirement Services Division and will manage the day to day financial reporting processes and analysis processes for global life and retirement services related to external reporting requirements including SEC reports, financial supplement and investor meetings. The position will be responsible for managing a global quarterly close process. Responsibilities include managing a team responsible for preparing quarterly analysis for foreign life insurance operating results, preparation of Management\'s Discussion and Analysis for 10K/Q filings, the Life and Retirement Services segment of the Financial Supplement to the 10/Q, and other analytical materials to support Life and Retirement Services senior management in the quarterly earnings disclosure processes. The position will also be responsible for developing and implementing new systems to support the external reporting processes. The position is a key interface with AIG Corporate Controllers and Investor Relations departments. Position Requirements: The position requires excellent communications skills, 10-15 years experience including SEC reporting, public accounting, and experience in working with international operations in an insurance industry environment.
