This position located in Bangor , will oversee and manage the financial and accounting responsibilities of multiple entities and will insure maximum operating efficiency of the financial accounting function through and with direct reports. Responsibilities: Oversee and review monthly financial statement closing and reporting cycle Effective and accessible supervision of staff and the prioritization of the work flow Preparation of Internal and External financial reports Financial analysis, forecasting and reporting Compliance of all state/federal sales & use and excise tax Coordinates, schedules and reviews interim and year end audits Design and implement accounting policies and procedures Projects as needed Coordinate company budgeting process and reporting Requirements Must possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance CPA or CMA designation would be helpful 5+ years of related experience in a corporate and/or public accounting environment Successful supervisory experience Must have solid problem solving ability and be highly organized with attention to detail Advanced Excel.
