Supervising the team through the entire audit process. -Keeping abreast of latest developments as they affect GAAP and the firm\'s standards and policies. -Keeping abreast of industry developments and their effects on client\'s competitive position. -Anticipating and addressing client concerns and resolving problems as they arise. -Promoting new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients. -Supervising the client relationship. -Supervising the timely delivery of the work product. -Performing the quality control function through review of all work papers, reports and other deliverables to ensure compliance with the firm\'s policies and professional standards. -Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations. - Monitoring and reporting regarding the productivity of staff and adhering to work plan schedules on each assignment. - Recognizing and informing senior management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients. -Developing an understanding of client\'s business and becoming a functional expert¨ in the area. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have supervisor/manager level experience within a public accounting firm and have expertise in all aspects of external audit and engagement supervision/management. To be considered, candidates should have: -Minimum of 3-4 years experience in public accounting. -Thorough knowledge of auditing standards and procedures. -Ability to travel (estimated to 20% or less). -A proven record of building profitable, sustainable client relationship.
