Job Description:
Research and Planning matters of Enterprise and all its subsidiaries. The primary purposes of the position are to ensure that the Company (1) is provided the highest quality tax advice, including coordinating advice from outside advisors, (2) has the appropriate level of technical tax analysis and scrutiny applied to tax planning opportunities, (3) properly documents tax planning projects, (4) has uncertain tax positions adequately reviewed and documented, (5) is educated in current legislative and regulatory events and their impact on the Company, and (6) has adequately influenced favorable legislative and regulatory initiatives. Successful candidate will also support tax research, planning and analysis of international tax structures impacting PSEG. Basic Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree in Accounting. Expert Knowledge of Federal and State Tax laws. Required Competencies: 7+ years of professional tax experience in a large corporate environment or public accounting or law firm. Proven analytic and problem solving skills and attention to detail. Highest level of integrity.
