STANDARD CONTRACT (1 year contract) with PUBLIC SCHOOL
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- START DATE: Presently recruiting for positions starting in Late August 2008.
- LOCATION: Public school vacancies available in Gyeonggi-do, Julla-do, Choongcheong-do.
- Salary: 2.0-2.5 million won/month basic salary based on education, qualifications, and teaching experience (2,200-2,600$US) + One month severance pay at end of a 1-year contract
- CONTRACT DURATION: 1 year
- STUDENTS: 15~ 35 students per class; Elementary (7~12), Middle school (13~15), High school students (16~18)
- 22 hours of teaching / week basic hours.
- Overtime work: 20,000won/hour, 2~ 6hours overtime work/week available in some schools.
- GENERAL WORKING SHIFT: 9am~ 5pm
- FREE furnished living accommodation provided by the school
- FREE round trip airplane tickets (reimbursed)
- VACATION: 14 working days (plus all national holidays)
- Employer pays 50% of the medical insurance cost
- VISA sponsored
- Low INCOME TAX
Job Requirements:
Nationality: Must be a native English speaker (CANADIAN, AMERICAN, AUSTRALIAN, NZ, UK, IRISH or SOUTH AFRICAN)
Education: Hold a BACHELORS DEGREE or higher (with any major)
