Job Description:
Responsibilities: . Assist in performing construction contract audits and compliance reviews . Evaluate and develop internal controls associated with the financial accounting, management and reporting of capital projects . Assist with assessments of large-scale capital projects and programs . Assist in the review, analysis and summary of construction claims and audits . Conduct business process assessments and develop business processes for the successful execution and management of large capital projects . Assist on non-construction related Forensic jobs, including fraud investigations and financial audit assist work, as needed . Work closely, but independently, under the direction of Managers and Partners . Carry out day-to-day engagement field work, including interviews, data collection, analysis and work paper documentation . Take part in business development and operational activities for the RECA practice Qualifications: . One year of experience in one or more of the following: construction management, construction development, contract compensation, program management, or construction contracts administration and/or procurement . Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management from an accredited college/university . Excellent written and verbal communication skills . Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access . Strong documentation, records retention and work paper organizational skills .
