Job Description:
Responsibilities: Lead preconstruction team (internal team members, customer, and design partners) in the pre-construction phase of biofuels projects. Works closely with the Group's Construction Executives to provide continuous service to project owners and design teams. Work with technology partners and subcontractors during design development and material selections. Prepare, review and approve all levels of schedules. Work in conjunction with the estimating team to insure accuracy and completeness of estimates. Work closely with the Group's Construction Executives to provide continuous service to project owners and design teams. Successfully manage the preconstruction phase of the project to insure success by the on-site construction team. Participates in proposal preparation and presentations. Participates and leads presentation of cost information to project owners. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience. Must have 10-15 years of experience working with industrial process construction, and can include ethanol plants, Biofuels projects, chemical plants, food and beverage plants, wastewater treatment plants and associated projects. Must have experience with the pre-construction phase of process type facilities. · Client Focused · Self-starter with professional attitude is a must. · Solid leadership skills to inspire and manage staff. · Technically strong.
