Job Description:
Supervises a group of several skilled workers in heavy construction and in the maintenance and repair of buildings and other structures; and performs other related duties as required.Applicants must meet all the requirements for the position they are seeking as of the deadline date of the recruitment, unless otherwise specified. Please note that unless specifically indicated, the required education and experience may not be gained concurrently. Note: Calculation of experience is based on full-time, 40-hour workweeks. Part-time experience is pro-rated. Example: Twelve months of experience at 20 hours/week is equivalent to six months of experience, not one year. Also, hours worked in excess of 40 hours/week will not be credited. Example: Twelve months of experience at 60 hours/week is equivalent to one year of experience, not one and a half years. To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements: Minimum Qualification Requirements: Training and Experience : Eight (8) years of work experience in performing skilled work involving the construction and maintenance of buildings, structures and equipment of which four years shall have been as a fully competent worker and including one year of supervisory work experience which included planning and scheduling the work of other fully competent workers, assigning and reviewing their work, and providing training; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
