Reporting and Financial analysis - manage the monthly financial activities for McGraw-Hill Construction, including the close process, variance analysis, key statistical reporting, and estimates.%0A * Coordinate quarterly/annual reports per corporate and segment requirements - foreign source revenue, price/volume, government sales, sensitivity analyses, future minimum tax schedules, etc.%0A * Manage the annual budgeting and medium range planning process for MHC and BIG%0A * Provide management reports as needed, including customer segmentation reporting and functional reporting.%0A * Function as the business manager for MHC group headquarters departments.%0A * Ensure that MHC policies and reporting are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.%0A * Direct the quarterly internal control self-assessment for the group to meet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. In addition, ensure that controls are effective and documented.%0A * Identify and track risks/opportunities on an ongoing basis.%0A * Special projects as needed.%0A%0A %0A Staff Responsibilities- This position is responsible for the supervision, management and development of a team of finance professionals who handle the day-to-day detail work of MHC Sales Compensation, including the compensation plan analysis, development, administration and sales performance reporting. Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of accounting theory and principles through both formal education and experience is required. A Bachelor or Master's degree in accounting or finance, with a minimum seven years of financial analysis and planning experience is necessary, and a CPA is desirable.
