Successful Candidates: **Excellent AutoCAD and ADT skills **Energetic team player **Possess excellent technology skills and good coaching skills **Strong interpersonal skills **Ability to think strategically about the future of our design technology **Supervision and production of construction documents **Specification writing and project manual compilation **Submittal processing **Construction bidding procedures **Architectural design and space planning capabilities Duties: **Work under the direction of the project manager with a minimal amount of supervisions **Assist Principal-In-Charge and project manager in design, space planning, and documentation of interior and exterior architecture **Provide supervision and quality control of Design Assistants and Interns in preparation of construction documents for interior architecture, exterior architecture and millwork fixtures **Responsible for technical accuracy of construction documents prepared by the firm **Responsible for meeting production schedules **Display thorough knowledge of architectural drafting, detailing, building materials, building codes, accessibility codes, and construction **Capable of performing construction administration tasks: field observation and reports, reviewing and processing contractor submittals, responding to contractors requests for information, and if/when requested by project manager, reviewing contractor requests for payment and preparing punch lists Prefer CAD Manager to possess a degree in Architecture, Engineering or similar Design-related technology field. Similar experience in an interior design, architectural or engineering practice is preferred.
