Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated is looking for an Information Manager to fill a position at a customer site in St. Louis, MO This is a contract position through December 2008 with the possibility of extension. Need candidates with superb search skills within multiple databases.
Job descriptions:
- Works in partnership with PGRD researchers to provide information support that facilitates the discovery and development of drug candidates
- Delivers current literature awareness alerting services, weekly newsletter for industry news and competitor information for R & D researchers
- Timely and targeted delivery of information
- Customer and service delivery focus

Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
MINIMUM: BS in Life Science or Chemistry with several years pharmaceutical industry experience
DESIRABLE: MS in Biology or in Chemistry or biology with several years pharmaceutical industry experience
WORK EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
MINIMUM:
Several years working experience as a researcher in pharmaceutical industry
DESIRABLE:
Experience in information sciences discipline within a Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology company
INTERPERSONAL
- Strong oral and written communication skills with excellent listening skills
- Proven ability to work effectively within the scientific community
