Job Description:
Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated is looking for a Project Manager to fill a position at a customer site in Groton, CT. This is an assignment through December 2008 with the possibility of extension.
Project Description:
The Worldwide Technology Records Management group is in the process of migrating documents from several legacy repositories into a single repository (PDOCS) designed to manage Policies, SOPs and other procedures. The primary team members responsible for the work are offshore in India.
The project involves migration of documents from a legacy format to a new format, a QC process to ensure accuracy of content and a mapping of each document against several different external criteria.
The WT PDOCs Migration Project Manager will:
- oversee the progress of the project
- monitor the review and approval cycle to make sure all timelines are met
- track issues in an issues log and resolve or escalate as necessary
- Request WT approvers complete required PDOCS training
- Keep track of metrics regarding progress on the project
This role requires being on-site daily with flexibility for early morning teleconferences with contacts in India.
