Job Description:
Responsible for directing the daily operations and staff of the Pharmacy Department in a manner that assures a safe, efficient and well-controlled drug distribution system. Supervision of pharmacy staff to include: medication storage and preparation areas throughout the facility, establishes specifications for the safe and secure storage of medications, chemicals, and biologicals, inventory control, technician development, IV room (USP 797), CQI/PI for processes and operation of drug distribution systems and IV room, formulating and implementing the operational goals and objectives of the pharmacy.
