Job Description:
Minimum bachelors degree in Engineering or Urban, Transportation, or Environmental Planning or related field with at least 8 years of experience in the transportation field.Experience with context sensitive solutions, environmental sustainability, and agency and public involvement is required. Job Description : Will manage transportation related assignments within the transportation planning and civil engineering disciplines to include conceptual, functional, preliminary and/or final highway design, traffic capacity analyses, traffic simulation, transportation planning, preparation of technical reports, environmental assessment reports, planning documents and technical reports in support of NEPA and/or SEPA environmental planning projects. Responsibilities include client coordination, development of project scopes and fee estimates, oversight of environmental, transportation, socioeconomic analysis, indirect and cumulative effects analysis, traffic analysis, and preparation of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance documents for roadway, transit, Department of Defense, or Department of Energy projects
