Incumbent serves as a Supervisory Pharmacist in charge of the Inpatient Pharmacy Section of VA Connecticut Healthcare System. Also functions, when assigned, as Acting Chief, Pharmacy Service in the absence of the Chief. This is a university affiliated medical center with active teaching program in Medicine, Surgery and Psychiatry as well as an extensive research program. The professional and management workload encountered is of the character, complexity and scope characteristic of a 120 bed DM&S Medical Center and a 40 bed Nursing Home Care Unit combined with an active outpatient service.
