The driver trainer supervisor is responsible for the supervision and evaluation of the driver workforce to ensure delivery standards are met, while adhering to all DOT, Federal, State and Company rules and regulations.Perform Ride Along ensuring drivers perform their function in a safe and productive mannerTrain new drivers on SOP's; submit 30,60,90 reviewsProvide feedback and retrain underperformers to assist them in meeting the Company standardsConduct safety/security training for new drivers, retraining as neededAssist in the maintenance of the DQ files, DOT logs and Vehicle condition reportsMaintain high level of customer service through site visitsEnsure maintenance is performed on all VehiclesBack up drivers in their absenceParticipate in accident investigation and an active member of the safety team Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalentClass A operating licenseKnowledge of on –board computersAbility to effectively interact with peers, subordinates and superiorsExcellent communication skillsTruck maintenance knowledge
