Supervise Compliance Officer and chair the Legal & Compliance meetings. Follow up on action points from weekly meetings and maintain a database of required activities.Supervise Business Manager and oversee financial functions.Attend ECM/IBD related meetings with (or in the place of) the Director of Research. Provide both administrative support for the ECM/IBD related compliance procedures and provide Research Management input at the ECC when the Director of Research is not available. Attend IRC meetings and provide input on the investment process. Achieve Series 24 certification and become an approver at the IRC.Staff Development / Best Practices. Analyze existing best practices and coordinate the spread of best practices across the department. Analytical support: Maintain complex databases related to cost/income and various analyst and associate performance metrics. Provide analytical support to Director of Research.
