The Vice President, Managed Care develops managed care strategies and negotiates contract rates and provisions; integral part of operations, contract negotiations and resolution of payment issues relating to physicians; administers managed care contracts across the System; manages the Managed Care Department staff responsible for data analysis of contract performance and reporting.Graduate or bachelor\'s degree with a minimum of seven to ten years\' experience in management and health care administration. Must be Knowledgeable regarding managed care concepts, health care reimbursement, and financial analysis.Proven negotiation experience required. Leadership ability to take initiative in implementing new ideas and to make innovative changes. Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
