Job Description:
This plant has highly skilled machinists in a team orientated environment. The Plant Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, production systems, organization, machine uptime, efficiencies, safety, quality and on-time delivery. This position required strong communication and organizational skills. This is a growing facility that will require adapting and improving systems to control the overall growth. Knowledge of production systems, material systems, PM systems, quality systems and continuous improvement techniques is a must. Direct experience implementing Lean and 5-S techniques is strongly preferred. Their customer base is 60% to 65% non automotive, however, experience launching components under APQP requirements is a huge plus. This is a TS-16949 certified facility with an average PPM of 3. Candidates with more of a team orientated approach to coach and mentor employees are preferred.
