Description Lead or assist the leader of the team through the entire audit process. * Prepare all necessary financial statement and related disclosures and reportable conditions letters, with an eye on quality, thoroughness and accuracy. * Develop an understanding of your client's business, and become a functional expert in the area. * Monitor and report the productivity of staff, and adherence to work plan schedules on each assignment. * Keep abreast of current developments as they affect GAAP and the firms standards and policies. * Keep abreast of industry developments and their effects on your client's competitive position. * Anticipate and address client concerns, and escalate problems as they arise. * Recognize and inform senior management of opportunities to increase level and types of services provided to clients. * Ensure professional development through ongoing education and obtain additional certifications as appropriate. Qualifications: * bachelor's degree in Accounting or closely related field * CPA or Demonstrated progress toward obtaining CPA certification * A minimum of 2+ years experience in Public Accounting with expertise in all aspects of external audit within the past 4 years.
