The director will administer the Associate of Applied Science Dental Hygiene Program and is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum; long-range planning and systematic evaluation of the program. Duties include instruction; supervision of faculty; and recruiting and advising students. The program director will work to ensure the program is of high quality, to maintain accreditation by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation, and to meet the needs of area employers. Other responsibilities include assessment/evaluation of instruction; participation in committee activities; student advisement, recruitment, and retention activities; professional/instructional development; participation in committee activities; service to the college; and other duties as assigned
