Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: administer the non-faculty compensation program, working closely with the Assistant Vice President for Human Resources and university leadership to analyze market data and pay guidelines; benchmark all new positions; review all positions and bands at least annually to ensure bands reflect the market and that employees are appropriately paid in the band ; meet with department heads on an annual basis to review employee pay position within the salary band and analyze any discrepancies between actual and target salaries; manage the University's leave of absence programs including: sick leave, parental and family care leave, and short-term and long-term disability, in compliance with all applicable laws and SJU policies, particularly the Family and Medical Leave act (FMLA) and the American's with Disabilities Act (ADA). Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of increasingly more responsible experience in Human Resources or related field, with demonstrated competencies in compensation analysis and/or financial analysis. Related management experience; understanding and knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulatory processes related to benefits, compensation, and labor; strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, including excellent public speaking skills; and high level of proficiency in the use of technology for data management and communications including mastery of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point) are essential For a complete description of position responsibilities and requirements and to apply, please visit our website at https://jobs.sju.edu All applications must be submitted on-line through this employment site.
