Primary Responsibilities: Overall management of accounts including servicing, reporting, renewals, new group installation and account level complaint resolution and tracking. Sales of additional products to existing customers. Provide scheduled servicing of accounts including in-person and telephone contact; trend analysis and documentation of results. Resolve and track account level complaints and problems including trend analysis and documentation. Retain and add-on to existing accounts. Install new group accounts: Management and employee presentations Completion of contracts Train and communicate to group employees including documentation and distribution of benefit, rate and eligibility information Notify departments of pertinent new group information Complete and deliver renewals including rates, correspondence and contract amendments. Notify departments of pertinent renewal information. Meet reporting needs of groups. Participate in new group briefings to other departments. Some travel required. KEY INDICATORS (OF SUCCESS): Account retention Account growth Customer satisfaction Clearly defined goals and accompanying strategy and plan Qualifications Qualifications: High school or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. 2 years of customer service experience required. 2 years account management experience in insurance or managed care background required. 2 years of experience in claims. 2 years of experience working primarily via phone or email. Healthcare experience is preferred. Experience solving claims issues is preferred. Computer skills (Word and Excel) preferred. Clinical background a plus.
