Job Description:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Develop and implement global business objectives to ensure growth -Identify and implement acquisition targets and/or potential partners -Develop strategic relationships with our key suppliers -Provide leadership and talent development for the global marketing organization -Provide regional direction to the Managing Directors for North America, EMEA and Asia Basic Qualifications: -Approximately 10-12 years experience in technology, supply chain or supply line management/procurement or related fields. -Experience in developing strategic relationships based on meeting the needs of both suppliers and distributors. -Excellent communication and presentation skills. -Excellent influencing and relationship building skills with the ability to form influential relationships at all levels both inside and outside the organization. -Ability to create a network of strategic relationships both internal and external to Arrow and use a high level of interpersonal skills to earn the respect and trust of colleagues at all levels. -International experience either as an expat or from North American locations. -Strategic Thinking - recognize and seize opportunities that create competitive advantage and strengthen organization's position globally. -Business Judgment - be an effective decision maker with the ability to address complex issues and solve problems in a timely, process-oriented manner. -Business Performance - translate business knowledge, experience and strategy into results through influencing, relationship building, process improvement and operational excellence. -People Leadership - select, motivate, lead and develop talent with a history of building high-performing teams focused on achieving mutual goals and fostering an environment of collaboration, teamwork, and trust. -Talent Development (direct and matrix reporting) - attract and develop high-caliber talent with diverse skills, understand the talent implications of the business strategy and develop appropriate bench strength across the company. Be able to hold self and others accountable for developing talent - including differentiation between high and low performers, and recognize and reward accordingly. -Fosters Open Communication - promote open, honest, and timely communication and collaboration across organizational boundaries, engaging employees in dialogue and the work. This individual must be willing to demonstrate managerial courage through candid discussions rather than avoiding situations that can create conflict. -Champions Continuous Improvement - creates an environment and provides resources that support innovation, change, and process improvement.
