Job Description:
The position will involve the same tasks as they relate to selected state park concessions and other business opportunities. This management position will report to the Vice President of Business Development.Principal Responsibilitieso Understand and keep abreast of federal regulations and policies on national parks, with particular emphasis on bidding and contract administration matterso Research and analyze new concessions opportunities in national and state parkso Research and analyze new concessions and business opportunities on public lands other than national and state parks, and elsewhere in the hospitality industryo Coordinate preparation of concession bids from beginning to endo Maintain positive and frequent flow of communication with appropriate National Park Service and state park representatives. o Perform special projects as needed Job Requirements: A minimum of either: (1) a Master's Degree in business administration or another relevant field, and at least 4 years professional experience - preferably within the hospitality industry - in business development, park management, or similar areas; or (2) a Bachelor's Degree in business administration or another relevant field, and at least 6 years professional experience - preferably within the hospitality industry - in business development, park management, or similar areas; or (3) a Bachelor's degree in English, and at least 6 years professional experience - preferably within the hospitality industry - in business development, park management, or similar areas.
