Provide oversight of analysis and assessment of risk regarding the various lines of life and annuity businesses; manage the company's hedging program, as well as propose and implement sound practices regarding risk management through reinsurance transactions or alternative capital market solutions; responsible for overall knowledge of the business providing interpretation of treaty terms, determine financial impacts and propose recommendations to limit exposure or enhance overall profitability of the underlying books of business; serve as the Appointed Actuary for the Company and responsible for complying with various state requests; work closely with the CFO; assess and file of the regulatory capital requirements.
