Job Description:
Responsibilities will include budgetary preparation/compliance accountability for the manufacturing departments within the Grand Island facility. This position will report to the Manager of Cost Accounting located in Grand Island, NY with a dotted line reporting to the site director of operations and also support the VP of worldwide operations for the division. This person will provide monthly expense analysis versus forecast and plan and other ad hoc analysis as needed. Being a high visibility position, the candidate will work daily and provide guidance to the site operations manager and VP of division operations.May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned. Nature and Scope Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of company employees. Requires a functional knowledge of corporate operations. Job encounters recurring work situations with occasional variations from the norm, involving a moderate degree of complexity. Accuracy is required in performing all functions of this position. Must demonstrate judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external customers as well the ability to handle confidential and proprietary information. Initiative and organization skills are extremely valuable to ensure a smooth office operation. Must possess self-motivation, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude and perform as a team player. Erroneous decisions will have a serious impact on the overall success of functional, division, or company operations. Occasional travel may be required.
