ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Supervise personnel responsible for the repair, troubleshooting and overhaul of Research and Development test vehicles and Company fleet vehicles. 2. Schedule vehicles/equipment for service and repairs; review preventive maintenance schedule or vehicle/equipment records to determine which are due for service; 3. Inspect vehicles/equipment and prepare work orders; determine the extent of required vehicle/equipment repairs and assist with diagnosis of problems; 4. assign work to appropriate staff member and assure appropriate quality checks are completed. Minimum qualifications include at least 4 years recent experience related to the above mentioned responsibilities. Heavy equipment experience is required and preference may be given to those with military experience. Pay range D.O.E. plus benefits including 401(k) and a profit sharing plan. MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Perform tasks in the field in extreme temperature and/or environmental conditions. 2. Assist in special projects. 3. Operate Company vehicles in support of test operations. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. At least 4 years recent experience related to the above mentioned responsibilities. 2. Heavy equipment mechanical experience is required 1. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
