Job Description:
Management support for the coordination, preparing and gathering of AHCA required documents and files for the Annual AHCA Risk Management Compliance Survey. * Manages the clinical identification of sensitive codes (ICD-9, CPT, HCPCS, LOS and LOINC) that should be excluded from sharing with external audiences as required by multiple state and federal laws. * Leadership for the research, development and maintenance of medical coverage guidelines (medical policy) for all lines of business, incorporating an evidence-based approach. * Day-to-day management of the evaluation and determination of coverage for new and revised ICD-9-CM, CPT and HCPCS codes as published on a quarterly and annual basis. * Manages the staff that responds to internal and external inquiries relative to medical policy. * Day-to-day management of the research, development and maintenance of payment policies for all lines of business. * Moderate to heavy keying required Job Requirements: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience * 5+ years regulatory, quality or medical coverage guideline experience to include 2 years of direct supervisory experience
