Responsibilities:Lead a project team to develop high quality designs for new and existing projects, may be required to work on multiple large scale projects at a time. Existing projects include development and redevelopment for universities, city neighborhoods, waterfronts, new cities, rural districts, downtown commercial centers and inter-modal transportation centers.Coordinate and direct the layout, design, drafting and specifications.Maintain project schedules and budgets to promote successful project completion based on client satisfaction and profitability.Mentor staff in the technical aspect of design and project coordination. Requirements & Competencies:An Architect and Urban Design professional with 3 - 8 years of experienceBachelors / Masters degree in Architecture or Urban DesignPassion for larger urban projects including multiple buildings and highly developed and articulated public spaces. Experience with Reuse, Multi-use and Sustainable designLicensed Architect LEED AP preferredAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of peers, managers, consultants and clients.Excellent graphic, verbal, and written communication skillsMust be detailed, goal oriented, value driven individual with proven problem solving abilities.
