Job Description:
In addition to documenting all information exchanges, this person also would be responsible for examining each electronic document and assuring that each document was formatted as per Jerde's and/or DIFC ˜s project format specifications. If the received document(s) did not meet the required format, this person would report any such issues to the appropriate Jerde Project Manger so that the appropriate document format(s) could be obtained. This person would be responsible for posting and retrieving all project information to/from our clients and consultants. This person would also be responsible for communicating Jerde and/or DIFC project format specifications with all other project consultants. This position would, at first, focus on the DIFC project and eventually expand to other Jerde projects that would require Document Control services. This position would also require archiving information into the Jerde Project Archive system. Due to the information technology (IT) demands for this position, this person would report directly to the Jerde IT Department with responsibilities to work for all other design departments (Architecture, Planning, Landscape, Interiors and Project Management). Experience & Requirements:Minimum of five years experience in the AEC industryArchitectural degree advantageousMust understand architectural drawings.
