Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be able to plan, direct, and coordinate tasks of designated projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters, by performing the duties personally or through subordinates. Must be proficient in Auto CAD 2007 or higher and have a thorough understanding of x-refs. Essential duties and responsibilities include: 1. Establishes layout of project documents utilizing established firm CAD Standards and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval. 2. Consults with client and engineers to determine requirements of structure or renovation, and prepares information regarding specifications, materials, equipment, and schedules. 3. Prepares accurate scale drawings and contract documents for building contractors. 4. Represents client in obtaining bids and awarding construction contracts. 5. Administers construction contracts and conducts periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plan, as required. 6. Mentors Job Captains and Drafting technicians to maintain a well-rounded team of professionals. 7. Performs miscellaneous office tasks, when needed, to ensure smooth functioning and presentation of the office. NOTES: US Residents Only. Salary will be commensurate with knowledge and experience.
