Job Description:
The successful candidate will participate in a busy and actively expanding diagnostic laboratory service which includes a medium-size, full service Cytogenetics facility offering prenatal testing, routine constitutional blood and tissue studies, bone marrow and solid tumor cytogenetics, and FISH, as well as a Molecular Pathology facility which offers testing for genetic, pharmacogenetic disorders and infectious disease testing including cystic fibrosis screening, warfarin metabolism, and several infectious disease tests. Duties will include preparing and reviewing cytogenetic and molecular case reports, test protocol development/refining, troubleshooting technical problems as needed, and staff training.
