Soil Improvement and unique Piling construction is seeking motivated and energetic Senior Engineer (ASCE Grade V or VI) candidates. In this position, you will be responsible for applying extensive and diversified knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices for the design and feasibility of ground improvement and piling technologies using advanced techniques and numerical models. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing engineering and construction project management. You will be based out of our Los Angeles area office with some of the time spent in the field to oversee design implementation and quality control and assurance issues. NOTES: North American Residents Only. Excellent salary and benefits package commesurate with experience and qualifications. Requirements * 8+ years geotechnical design with responsibility for managing projects. * B.S., M.S. degree; a P.E. license is a plus. * Experience in construction and/or construction management is a plus. * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Applied computer analyses using numerical methods and other geotechnical software. * Able to equally perform independent tasks, contribute and excel in a teamwork environment. * Commercial instincts and sense for best value engineering.
