SUMMER INTERN -OPERATIONS will be supporting the 2008 Productivity opportunities for Grand Island Operations. The intern will lead 1 or 2 Productivity projects in Dry Powder Media Manufacturing to completion by working with cross functional teams. The intern will be utilizing project management skill sets to manage the project and implement solutions that will improve productivity of Dry Powder Media Manufacturing Essential Functions :Work within a cross functional team to define, measure, analyze, improve and control productivity improvement opportunties. Conduct current performance analysis and work with cross functional team to identify improvement opportunties and implement process improvements. Develop control procedures and training documents to sustain the improvements. Utilize project management skill sets to lead and complete projects within the project schedule. Project Deliverables:- Realize productivity benefits to the Dry Powder Media manufacturing area Job Requirements : - At least a third year student pursuing a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (chemical, mechanical, or industrial).- Ability to work with individuals at all levels and functions of the organization to influence and drive results.- Lean/Project Management experience preferred.We are proud to be an Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity Employer committed to hiring a diverse and inclusive workforce.This position is not eligible for relocation benefits.
