Job Description:
The ability to develop effective working relationships and partnerships with senior managers, elected officials, trades staff, and citizen groups. * The ability to effectively communicate technical transportation management information by clear verbal presentation and clear written documentation, to staff and the executive leadership in the County. * Demonstrated ability both to direct and analyze daily operations and to recommend improved efficiencies within a local government environment. * Strong management and environmental leadership skills with the ability to educate agencies on transportation engineering initiatives. Additional Information: This position is in the Arlington County Government's Extended Management Accountability Program (XMAP), in which Senior Program Managers are evaluated and compensated based on a performance agreement linked to the County\'s Management plan, and results achieved, among other criteria.Applications will be reviewed continuously.
