Java Web UI/AJAX Software Engineer
(Location: Silicon Valley, CA)
My client is looking for a talented UI engineer to take the user interface of our core product to the next level.
They understand the value and importance of the user experience in enterprise applications, believe in user-centered design, and have real customers who provide them great feedback. This client's core UI challenge is to allow users to grasp and to analyze very large volumes of unstructured data in an intuitive, clean, and simple fashion.
In this role, you will design, implement, test, and support UI as well as gain exposure to the latest technologies in search, web-based information retrieval, e-discovery, and analytics. You will help us follow best practices for test-directed UI development and participate in UI design with Product Management group's user experience designers and usability specialists.
Job Requirements:
Requirements:
· Deep understanding of web UI development, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and HTTP
· Experience with modern web UI frameworks (e.g., Ext, GWT, prototype, dojo, DWR, YUI, Flex, XAML, Laszlo and so on) is highly desirable.
· Keen eye for detail and passion for quality (every pixel counts)
· 3-5 years of Java development experience, including servlets and JSPs. Ideally, you'll have had experience with both Struts and JSF
· BS in Computer Science or equivalent
