Job Description:
Corps operators and administrators using Command and Control, Communications, and Computers in an operational context which includes Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconaissance (C4ISR). These systems include the Expanded Position Location Reporting System (EPLRS); Ultra High Frequency (UHF), line-of-sight (LOS), multi-channel radio communications systems such as the AN/MRC-142; Command and Control On-the-Move Network, Digital Over-the-Horizon Relay (CONDOR) and Common Army-Marine Command and Control (CAMC2) vehicle systems; Tactical Operations Center Network (TOCNET); and organic C4ISR Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAV). Documented familiarity with one or more of the above systems is a must. Training will be based at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston, SC (SSC-C), as a contractor working for L-3 Communications. Occasional travel will be required within the Continental United States (CONUS), including operational pre-deployment training , practical application support, systems administration support, and classroom setup for deploying USMC units.
