Will work as the team leader to organize, control, and monitor all procurement activities in projects and implements procurement strategies and tools to drive the maximum contribution to the operating results. Responsible for all district level third party spending activities of $ 65 million. Establishes proper sourcing processes and identifies procurement resources and activities to achieve optimal total cost. Implements procurement strategies to bring opportunities in new or alternative materials and suppliers with the goal of reducing costs for existing products or services. Objective is to optimize total costs in support of business strategies and maximize profitability. Background Required: * Procurement in project related environment (5 years)* Progression and experience in increasing responsibilities in procurement (8 years) * Demonstrated success in integrating procurement strategies and processes into a project* Strong negotiations and contract development skills * Project lifecycle (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Closeout) * Budgeting* Understands and supports a team concept towards project and cost development, without jeopardizing procurement principles and requirements. * Computer literate: Microsoft Project, Excel, Word & PowerPoint* Location: Atlanta, GA (relocation assistance available) *
