DESCRIPTION: Procurement/Fiscal Operations Administrator responsible for the management of the Library's procurement and receiving process, and administering the fiscal operations of departments that are the responsibility of the Director of Administrative Services. Library's Express Card Administrator responsible for issuance of express cards, and resolution of lost and stolen card issues. Responsible for budgetary activities, business processes, and performs data compilation and complex analysis of financial activities against various funds, produces administrative reports. Manages the library-wide Asset Management process and updates the campus Equipment Asset Management System (EAMS) to ensure accurate inventory data. QUALIFICATIONS: * Knowledge and direct experience purchasing specialized equipment, and formulating specifications, requests for quotations in report format. Expert skill in negotiating prices and resolving complex problematic vendor issues. * Demonstrated ability to improve processes by assessing procedures, recommending policy and procedure development, independently seeking information and opinions, developing and implementing changes as appropriate. * Experience researching, analyzing, and compiling financial and budgetary data by developing, evaluating, preparing, and implementing sound budget recommendations. * Strong knowledge base in the principles and practices of fund accounting, cost analysis, and audit procedures. * Demonstrated experience providing organization-wide administrative support including the ability to recognize, prioritize, and collect documentation pertinent to the work of senior management and their administrative support staff. * Strong skills in clearly and accurately communicating information to a wide variety of university and non-university individuals, both in person, in writing, and by telephone.
