Job Description:
Food Service Director in establishing and maintaining systems and procedures for the ordering, receiving, storing, preparing and serving of food and related products. Menu planning and development. Assist in unit forecast and unit accounting. Ensures that requirements for appropriate sanitation and safety levels in respective areas are met. Coordinates and supervises unit personnel regarding production, merchandising, quality and cost control. Labor scheduling, staffing and employee training. Conducts period inventory Performs other functions such as maintaining records to comply with government and accrediting agency standards The continued success of our dynamic business depends heavily on the Assistant Food Service Director's ability to be Customer Focused with a strong appreciation for Time Management. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or Business Management preferred, but not required 2-3 years of food service management experience is required K-12 food service management is preferred Proven work ethic as well as experience working with food Ability to communicate effectively with clients, client's customers, and support staff.
