Other duties may be assigned · Provide leadership to the SFS team. · Serve as a member of the Enrollment Services Team assisting in the development and implementation of an institutional enrollment management plan. · Serve as a member of the Financial Aid Policy Committee, Financial Aid Scholarship Committee, Academic Appeals Committee, and other committees as assigned. · Oversee and review the work of the Student Financial Services Office staff including the processing of ISIRS, completion of the verification process, awarding state, federal, and institutional aid, processing student loans, processing of state and federal aid for traditional and non-traditional programs, and billing and collecting student accounts for traditional programs. · Oversee the Perkins Loan reporting, separation, and collecting process. · Direct the setup and use of Datatel for financial aid processing and student account tracking. · Act as primary liaison for SFS with IS for departmental computing needs. · Keep abreast of changes in state, federal, and institutional policies and regulations affecting financial aid. · Make Professional Judgment decisions related to requests for special considerations in aid programs. · Monitor compliance with the requirements of the Title IV Participation Agreement by all offices on campus who have responsibilities under the agreement including but not limited to the Student Financial Services office, Business office.
