Job Description:
Provides medication preparation, dispensing and distribution. Provides safe, effective, and cost-conscious pharmacotherapeutic recommendations through the departments intervention, special use, and intravenous to oral conversion programs or drug information services. Prescribes and manages patient therapy, utilizing appropriate laboratory tests for designated antibiotics and anticoagulants, through the approved pharmacokinetic consultation process. Qualifications Required: Bachelors degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy. Current Michigan RPh licensure. Previous managerial experience in a hospital department. Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment when prioritizing work responsibilities.
