Job Description:
The Director will coordinate all activities of the Center and market the Center both within and outside the Institute, including prospective students. The Director reports to the Dean of Student Affairs, and will work collaboratively with other areas of the Institute including faculty, Alumni Affairs, Advancement, Admissions, Marketing & Communications, IT, and key alumni toward supporting a comprehensive career development program. It is expected that the Center will utilize available software and other technology to support its activities, and maintain an informative website for internal and external use. The successful candidate will possess excellent managerial, technical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Familiarity with the variety of career paths and means of accessing potential opportunities within the visual arts and design fields is preferred.We highly desire a master\'s degree in one of the following fields: counseling, business/human resources, higher education, or a related field, and a minimum of three years of direct experience in career development or services, student affairs, corporate/college relations, or in a related environment. Significant recruiting or career-related experience in the art/design industry, and a relevant bachelor\'s degree may be considered. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
