As the Editor in Chief of Securities Industry News, you will play a key role in defining the relevance and brand value of this respected Wall Street publication. Assuming the overall responsibility for the content; in print, online, and data/data analysis, you will implement a long-term strategic plan that enhances the weekly editorial product, while significantly accelerating community presence. Here, you will be positioned as a leading industry expert and spokesperson to the press and Wall Street community. With full editorial management responsibility, you will direct and motivate a staff comprised of a Managing Editor, Senior Editor, Beat Editors, Reporters, and numerous contributors and freelance specialists to put out compelling multimedia content that builds on and expands our brand The Editor in Chief should be a high-energy editorial manager with experience in financial publishing; especially technology and operations, in print and on the internet. Immediate editorial credibility in the securities industry or an adjacent capital markets specialty, particularly combining knowledge of the financial services industry and technology, is essential. Up-to-date knowledge of internet publishing and usage patterns, along with an aggressive interest in playing a role in the future of financial journalism is vital.
