Provide input to CPRM management on long-range resource planning and budgeting to meet departmental and project needs. Identify and communicate issues that impact resource allocation and provide solutions. Manage and maintain operational processes and payment activities to support conduct of clinical studies. Assist in the integration of electronic systems within Clinical Operations and across departments as they pertain to and support study payment activities and reduce overall operating costs. Implement and train staff on new processes, technologies, and systems (i.e., study budget/payment management tracking and reporting tools). Ensure payment activities are managed according to the study operational plan and are in accordance with the timelines and company objectives. Anticipate and identify issues that could affect timelines and works to develop alternative solutions. Represent Payments group during financial audits of clinical study contract payment activities. Work in partnership with clinical teams and functional areas to resolve critical and complex payment issues. Ensure corrective action is implemented as appropriate. Ensure payment parameters are tracked as appropriate. Work with Payment Specialists to populate and keep current all payment trackers. Function as a resource for contract and payment related questions and give appropriate guidance. Keep up to date on payment trends in the pharmaceutical industry.
