Serve as the referral contact to clinical/product/service questions that come directly to Medical & Professional Affairs and/or the Product Information Center;* Respond to telephone and routine written inquiries relating to product use in clinical settings;* Maintain a current familiarity of the published medical literature relating to the product lines(s) so that information can be provided to the business unit(s) relating to clinical trends and their potential impacts on the product line(s);* Initiate/maintain/review standard operating procedures of the Medial & Professional Affairs Department* Develop a basic understanding and maintain current knowledge of regulatory and quality requirements related to R&D and product support;* Assist Baxter's regulatory and quality groups by providing clinical input into the evaluation of product complaints and adverse events;* Coordinate and support product development including clinical appropriateness reviews and controlled market releases;* Provide initial and ongoing clinical input into the business units development programs. This includes participation in new product idea generation teams, product development teams, and design change teams
