Job Description:
Superintendent is now needed for a manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania. Candidates will have a degree in Bachelor of Science or business or manufacturing technical or engineering. 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment using CNC machines. Lean manufacturing experience with unions is a plus. Candidates must be a self starter and communicate well. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude. The Plant superintendent will direct and coordinate manufacturing and shipping activities, and directing departmental supervisors to attain required quality, production, shipping and safety standards. Review and analyze production, quality and operational reports to determine operational problems. Assist director of manufacturing in the management of physical, financial and intellectual assets of the shop floor. Confer with production inventory control in coordination of production schedules and priorities. Company will provide a benefits package.
