Job Description:
Responsible for the daily supervision of the production and shipping/receiving departments. Ensures operations and employees meet established production schedules, customer requirements, and safety requirements. Enforces and administers applicable company policies with emploeyes including, but not limited to, attendance, safety, recognition, and discipline. Develops, establishes, and maintains effective production procedures and methods. Acquires, trains, develops, supervises, and retains qualified production employees. Effectively represents corporate management guidelines and philosophy to employees. Continuously improves and applies technical and managerial knowledge and skills. Conceives, develops, and implements solutions to production operation problems and requirements using professionally accepted techniques, practices or procedures. Maintains all required production operation records, logs, and reports. Lean Enterprise Champion for the facility. Focuses on taking waste out of process and improving monthly output. Complies with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and procedures at all times. Must have a Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Must have at least three years of experience supervising employees at a manufacturing facility; preferably in aerospace.
